RegArd OOO was established in Moscow in 2003. Company initially specialized in the render services mainly for foreign enterprises in the fields of marketing authorization of pharmaceutical and immunobiological products, active substances, food supplements, parapharmaceutics, medical devices, and diagnostics. Understanding that our clients’ interests ultimately involve penetration into the Russian market, in a relatively short time we have essentially expanded the company profile with marketing, distribution and sales. This step has raised attractiveness of the company for potential partners and has allowed us to build relations with them on the basis of long-term exclusive distribution agreements, within the frames of which market authorization is considered only as a preparatory stage. As a result, in a year after RegArd OOO was set up we entered into the first such agreement with Heber Biotec S.A. concerning distribution of human recombinant proteins derived thrombolytic, antiviral and wound healing drugs manufactured by the Center of gene engineering and biotechnologies (Cuba). Consequent projects with others, represented mainly by the European manufacturers or distributors, have afforded the opportunity to fill up our portfolio with a number of the products interesting in terms of their therapeutic potential, profitability and/or competitive advantages. Being at the different stages of development, these projects will allow us within a short period of time to enter into such segments as orphan drugs and OTC medical devices.
